Embarking on a journey of education and personal growth
My journey to becoming a performance coach combined hands-on experience with formal education. I earned my Master’s degree in the science of athletic training from the Faculty of Sports in Ljubljana, focusing on triathlon training and overall athlete fitness. Learning never stops for me, especially in the ever-evolving world of sports science. I still study newest approaches to stay ahead.
I always strive to bring the latest research into my coaching. This dedication to learning isn’t just about gathering information. It’s about deeply understanding how to use this knowledge in practice. Whether it’s improving running techniques, understanding cycling’s physical demands, or building mental resilience for triathlons, my education is crucial in creating effective training plans.

Coaching for Success: From Beginners to Elites
Since I began coaching in 2013, I’ve had the honor of helping many athletes. They all have their own goals and obstacles. My athletes range from beginners just starting out, to experienced amateurs wanting to improve, and top competitors targeting victory. I’ve also coached the Slovenian triathlon national team. This wide range of experience has deepened my insight into the needs of athletes at all levels. Additionally, it helped me in creating complete customized training plans for each individual.
Competing among the best
My insights into peak performance coaching are deeply influenced by my personal experiences as a competitive athlete. Between 2019 and 2022, I was competing against some of the best athletes on the global stage. You can check my achievement in Budva in the article from Slovenian triathlon union.
